A detachment of minesweepers of the Pacific Fleet conducted a comprehensive exercise in Peter the Great Bay

A detachment of 5 base minesweepers of the Pacific Fleet conducted a comprehensive exercise in Peter the Great Bay.

The crews of the base minesweepers performed elements of combat training as part of the ship’s minesweeping group.

In the course of the exercise, part of the ship’s minesweeping team carried out the laying of conditional mines, while another part of the team searched for and trawled an area with a conditional mine hazard to guide the fleet’s ships behind the trawls.

The personnel completed the tasks in various conditions and successfully worked out the algorithm of mine action.

The event was held in accordance with the combat training plan of the Pacific Fleet. All training mines of various types were found and destroyed.
